Don’t be fooled by lesser quality imitators. CarSpin turntables are not made in China, and passed off as American. They are built to industrial quality standards with industrial quality parts to provide years of reliable services. Massively overbuilt for real world usage – not built to minimum standards with minimum reliability. CarSpin turntables include an Underwriters Laboratories (UL) compliant and FCC licensed control panel, whose microprocessor controls the child-safe transmitter code for the remote control and all other turntable functions – not an unlicensed, noncompliant on/off switch. And, unlike any other in-ground system, because CarSpin turntables are designed as “temporary” structures, they do not require a permit for installation in most municipalities. Remember, when comparing an above-ground turntable to an in-ground turntable, it is a bit like comparing an above-ground swimming pool to an in-ground swimming pool. They both provide the same function (they both hold water - just like both turntables rotate vehicles) but they are very different in form. However, substantial drawbacks of an above-ground turntable include: ·Potential safety hazard where driveway placement blocks emergency vehicles (no fire engine or ambulance access – above-ground turntables are inexpensively designed to only support light weight vehicles) ·Prevents driveway access by delivery trucks (only accessible to lightweight vehicles – no UPS, FedEx, trash pickup trucks, etc.) ·Low profile vehicles susceptible to damage when entering or exiting table (imagine driving over an extremely high 3" speed bump) ·Unlike our in-ground, heavy-duty, high weight capacity turntables (which can rotate vehicles weighing up to 30,000 lbs. on turntables as large as 19’ diameters), above-ground turntables are limited to lightweight vehicles that can fit on a small 13’ diameter table ·Functionally susceptible to adverse weather conditions (rain, snow, frost, cold weather, etc.). An in-ground turntable is nearly impervious to these weather conditions ·Unlike our in-ground turntables, above-ground turntables are not Underwriters Laboratory (UL) listed.
